Fall and Back To {home} school!

Fall activities have begun for the Adams family! Home School, Karate, Dance, Girl Scouts! (I signed up to be Peytons Brownie troop leader-13 precious girls!!)Church Activities, Heath and I are still helping with youth on Wednesday nights! But we also agreed to teach the Sunday 11:00am kids service (we are truly having so much fun!! 40 kids and growing!! God is doing BIG things in the hearts and lives of our children!!)) Just when we have started being an on time family to the 11:00 service, ( if you know us -we are NOT early risers!!lol) we are stretching ourselves and getting to the 9:00 service ON TIME! Have Mercy!! lol!! So that we can attend a service and serve a service!
(I'm still teaching a weekly Bible study at the Juvenile detention center-believing God for many more young people to choose a relationship with Jesus- He is the only one who can fix broken hearts and lives!!)
We started back to school with the rest of Great Falls! But as you know, I'm a homeschooling Mom- and I love it!! I do have days and moments that I most certainly think of pulling my hair out!!lol!! But I enjoy getting to be with my children- teaching and training them. Its great work!!!! If you stop by for an unexpected visit during the week, you will surely find my house to be a mess! Me in sweat pants and t-shirt and no makeup!lol! So I'm trying for - sloppy success! lol! I am also determined to squeeze in 30 minutes 5 times a week of walking or jogging . Praise the Lord! I just started week 5!! ( I think its finally starting to feel easier!!lol! Its painful getting in shape!!))
But knowing that His grace is all I need. His power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me.(2 Corinthians 12:9)
Here are a few new pics I took of the kids for there back to school photo session with Mom!

Gpp's visit

Our next
family visit this summer- a day later, my darlin Dad and sweet friend Leslie decided to drop in for a quick visit on there way to California!! ("a few extra miles" added to there drive to Cali. from Tx.!! so we must be special!!!lol!) We missed Gg -who was off on a mission trip-having her own adventure!! We took Dad and Leslie on a rafting trip to enjoy God's Big Sky Montana Scenery! We had a blast playing in the water and of course with the Adams family you have to have a net to catch crawfish and sculpins!
SO much fun getting to spend time with my Daddy-even if it was a short visit! We even snuck off and had coffee together!!( Although it wasn't as good as the coffee he brought us!!) How I treasure having a Dad after GODS heart!! My prayer warrior and my friend! I am a blessed girl!!
Avery, Peyton and Hunter loved time with there Grandpapa!! Lots of snuggles and giggles!! And sometimes gagging when Gpp eats mustard
covered oreos!!{totally disgusting}but we still love him!!lol! Hurry up and get back to Montana Gpp and Gg!! We miss you so much!!

Adams Family Visit!

We were so very blessed to have PaPa, Emaw and Aunt Heather come for a 2 week visit! Heath wore us all out fishing, camping, fishing, rafting and more fishing!! We caught some beautiful trout! The scenery, one of Gods wonderful gifts to us- takes your breath away every time! And the animals always capture the attention of the Adams family!! It was soo much fun! There was also a crazy little kayak adventure!! (on what Heath thought were category 1 rapids!lol! it turned out that it was that one time of year that he was WRONG!!lol!) I'm so very thankful that God protected our Adams men and helped us to recover both kayaks!! He is soo good!!
Mom was super sweet to come and make tamales-the freezer is stocked! And let me tell you they are soo delicious!! Heath is pretty selfish with them though- he makes ugly faces at me every time I eat them!!lol! Dad did some much needed fixin up on our vehicles! So nice!! It was so much fun getting to spend time with Heather too-she was Heaths sister first but I'm thankful he has to share her with me now!
Avery and Hunter loved that their Papa taught them how to hit golf balls! Peyton loved that her Emaw taught her how to crotchet-she carries it around and works on it everywhere!!(too cute!!)) They all loved snuggling with Aunt Heather!!! 2 weeks went way too fast! The memories we made are priceless! And the goodbyes always stink!

Gold!!

Avery finally tested for his gold belt!! He's been enjoying his karate lessons this year, but hasn't really been ready to advance to his gold belt. So on June 26th he had his first test. Now to pass this test he had to do lots of hard work but at the end of this 3 hour test they have to break a board (1 inch thick) Avery was told about this board breaking the day before he tested and he never got to see anyone do it. When he was chosen to go first, I was sooo nervous for him!! With Mom and Dad holding our breath and praying for God to help our boy. He kicked a couple of times and nothing happened. He teared up just a bit feeling discouraged and his Karate instructor leaned in and encouraged him, mom and dad were cheering from the side line (thankfully he didn't have a total meltdown!! He dug in!!). He kicked a good kick and to his and to our delight his bare foot went through the board and broke it in half! (OK so I did cry a little!! I'm a proud Momma that my boy broke that board in half!!!))) And now our Avery has his gold belt, he got a taste of advancement, so now he working hard for his green belt. But as I overheard him tell his Grandpa on the phone, he's only at the beginning of his journey!!
